What is Intracall?

Intracall gives you a free, anonymous SIP phone number. It works only within the Intracall network; not with regular phone lines.

What you can do:

• Receive calls from real phones via public gateway numbers (see below).
• Call and chat with other Intracall users for free.
• Send SMS to other Intracall users for free

What you can't do:

• No outgoing calls to normal phones (Intracall is a closed, private system).
• Call emergency services (911, 112, 111 etc.)

How to get started:

1. Visit the Intracall website, complete the captcha, and click Get Number.
2. Set up your VoIP app (e.g., Linphone, MicroSIP) with:
   • SIP Server: call.intracall.net
   • Username: (your assigned number)
   • Password: (provided by the site)
   • Transport: UDP

How to receive calls from regular phones:

1. Call one of the Intracall gateway numbers:
   • Italy: +39 389 213 7333
   • UK: +44 7842 151367 or +44 7397 860878

2. When prompted, enter your Intracall extension (your SIP number) on the phone keypad.

How to receive emails as SMS:

1. Ask someone to send an email to your Intracall address:
   • [your 5-digit-number]@intracall.net
   • Example: [email protected]
2. You will receive the email as a SIP SMS message on your Intracall extension.
3. To reply, simply send a SIP SMS back. Your reply will be delivered as an email to the original sender.
4. Note: Large emails are automatically split into multiple SMS messages. Each conversation is kept private and secure.

• Going on a trip to Japan?
  Stay in touch with your 90-year-old grandma for free; just get her a SIP phone and use Intracall to call her without paying a cent in roaming charges!
• Want to build your own IVR or stream Nightcore music by phone?
  No money for a SIP line, SIM card, or dongle? Use Intracall for free!

Intracall is ideal for private communication, testing, learning SIP, reusing old phones or experiments; not for regular phone service.
